We Are Here To Serve You
We pride ourselves on the friendly, timely and effective customer service that we provide. Your complete satisfaction is our #1 priority.
Before you get started on your journey with us, please take a moment to familiarize yourself with some important information about doing business with us. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us for further explanation!
Hours
Our typical hours are 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday, but times and availability will vary from day to day. Our normal pick up schedule is 8am-4pm, with completed orders located in our front vestibule area. If you need in-person (walk in), please call ahead to make sure someone is here to accommodate you.
Payment
We use Authrorize.net, a secure online payment system, for the majority collection of payments, via credit card. Sometimes, we invoice directly. If your card information is not on file, we will generally call to gain your information. Payment is typically required prior to completing orders. Upon completion, you will receive an email with a detailed paid receipt, along with notification that your order is ready for pick up (or will be shipped, depending upon your order request). For future orders, we will charge your card automatically (if permission was granted for us to retain your information) unless you tell us not to.
Of course there are always some exceptions, and we’ll work with you as fair and best as possible. Please let us know if an special needs/considerations are required.
Minimum Charge
All orders carry a minimum charge of $15.00.
Pricing
Prices listed on our website are updated periodically and will change without notice. Many of our services are custom and do not fall into a cut and dry pricing structure. Estimates are then created if necessary.
Change of Order
Due to production processes, orders can move past the point of no return very quickly. If you have a change on your order, contact us asap. While you will be responsible for any work completed prior to the change of order, we’ll do the best we can to accommodate your request. Please double-check your work before submitting.
Remakes / Returns / Warranty
Sometimes we mess up. When we do, we will always do our best to fix the problem as quickly as possible. Please carefully inspect all orders upon receipt. Any request for remakes must be made within 10 days of the billing date and must include the original work order, original work (or prints) to be remade and clear remake instructions. We are highly automated and make every effort to ensure that what you order is what you get. Unfortunately, even our best efforts can sometimes go awry by “system errors.” Rest assured that we correct our errors at our cost.
All remakes and returns are subject to Advanced Imaging’s standards and policies.
Sometimes (yes, rarely, we know) you mess up. We try (we don’t guarantee) to keep all images on our server long enough to provide support for your submitted files. If the remake does not require you to send a new image, please notify us of the make-over as soon as possible so that we can use the image(s) we have on file. This will help to ensure the color on the new prints matches that of the first set.
Rush Service
Rush Service is offered subject to current workload. It is always recommended that arrangements for Rush Service be made prior to processing your order, but we understand that it can’t always happen that way. If an order is needed sooner than our normal turnaround, rush charges will apply and will be quoted before the order is processed.
Shipping Damage
If you receive a shipment that appears to be damaged, accept the delivery and immediately inspect the contents. Then contact us so we can begin work on a resolution.
Sales Tax
All orders in Illinois will be charged current Illinois State Tax unless a signed Illinois State Crt61 Resale form and a current copy of your resale certificate is on file with Advanced Imaging Inc.
Price Changes
Prices and policies are subject to change without notice.

Important Information and Resources
File Preparation and Color Management
Clients of Advanced Imaging can rest easy knowing their images are printed on some of the best machines available. These printers, like all machines, have certain tolerances in regard to how products, and in this case prints, are produced. As a result, we enlarge each image’s size very slightly to ensure that every one is printed to the edges of the print, without leaving any white lines. In most cases this small loss around the image is unnoticeable, however we still recommend that any important subjects in your images are kept at least 1/4″ from the edge of the photo.
Recommended File Preparation
1) Capture your event as you usually do. We recommend files to be shot in Adobe 1998. sRGB is good too, however it does not capture as large a gamut of color as Adobe 1998. Submit the files in the same color space you shot them in. (Scroll down for more info on Color Management.)
2) Edit for content, and post-process as you usually do.
3) Save as jpegs, using native resolution and size as it was shot. Crop as necessary, but do not add or remove pixels!
(If you are not sure that the file is large enough for the print size you want, open in Photoshop, crop file to your desired print dimensions (while leaving the pixels alone), zoom in to 100%, and you will be able to see if it breaks up or not.)
A note about renaming:
Some studios rename their images, others don’t, it’s a matter of preference and workflow. However, if you do decide to rename your files please keep this in mind: Our software will not accept images with file names longer than 30 characters and none of those characters can be !@#$%^&*()|{}~+=/?<> or (<– these are specific symbols, not curse words, seriously! Underscores ( _ ) are perfectly acceptable in place of a space-bar space.
Color Management
All files are expected to be print ready unless notated. It is important to have a properly calibrated and profiled monitor, as this will insure that the colors you see on your monitor match the colors on the prints you receive from Advanced Imaging. We strongly recommend that you calibrate and profile your monitor with a hardware display calibrator. This device attaches to the front of your monitor and reads color patches displayed by the software. Using these readings, the software removes any color cast from your screen, helps optimize the brightness/contrast/color output and creates a profile describing how your monitor displays color. Photoshop then uses this profile when displaying images to give you the most accurate color display possible. Follow the directions below to properly set up your Photoshop Color Settings.
